Moffat Family Fund Grant

The Moffat Family Fund Grant supports projects that make a meaningful and lasting difference for children and families in our community. Guided by the Moffat Family Fund’s vision, this grant focuses on advancing the economic, social, physical, and intellectual well-being of children and families. The Moffat Family Fund is dedicated to building vibrant, inclusive communities by supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life for children, families, and communities in The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, and the RM of Kelsey.

Through this annual grant program, the The Pas Tri-Community Foundation Inc. distributes funds from the Moffat Family Fund, a donor-advised fund established through the Winnipeg Foundation. Projects funded through this program should reflect the Moffat Family’s vision of a caring, healthy, and sustainable community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We encourage applications that create real impact, strengthen families, and build a healthier, more connected community. Projects may include early childhood education, parenting support, mentorship programs, mental health services, nutritious food access, after-school enrichment, digital inclusion, and other initiatives that help children and families thrive.

Grants are typically awarded to:

  • Programs that support children, youth, and families

  • Initiatives that strengthen community belonging and well-being

  • Projects that enhance recreation, education, culture, or health

  • Charitable organizations serving residents of the Tri-Community region.

If your project helps children and families grow, learn, feel supported, and build a stronger future, we want to hear from you. Please start by downloading the Grant Guidelines below and filling out the Grant Application.
